Bubble Bubble, Gurgle...
Soon the spring swirls and winds.
It overflows the earthen vessel,
Spilling out into a new path.
With new speed, instinctual direction,
It's moving with power.
The waters surge, the rushing water's urge
To break past all boundaries...
Freedom found in the everlasting life,
Life everlasting, not a spring of passing,
Not a lucky hole where the water's still cold
But a living water, fresh and clean,
The water that is birthed from God's own dream
Made real in His power,
The Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Which brings Spring's blossom even to dead flowers.
more to come?

somber methods
Limping forward, sword in shredded scabbard, dragging
Across the bloody, muddy ground, pulling me down,
Confusion mixed with sorrow bruises my soul,
I look across the blank stares of brothers I once knew,
Who gave themselves to what I too was scared to do,
Scarred underneath this exterior plate of courage,
Fear among little boys who realize the craze of what they're doing,
I don't want to die!
I don't want to fight!
Please no, don't make me swing this death sentence so much.
Why, why! I never wanted to take another brother's life...
But made was my decision before I walked on the field,
Unprepared though I was, I had to kill or be killed.
Give him an AK, let him know it's okay,
That to kill one of these traitors is not just okay,
It's right beyond, it's good to do,
Raising the bar of his faith to a new view,
Changing black and white so the spectrum fits the new hue,
Boys with bomber jackets, following orders to please evil men...
Confused world that is seeking life,
Looking for it's answers in the perceived enemy's death,
Raping the world of all its innocence, soon none to be left.
Books to disappear, that will increase control,
Decrease dissension among those who are intent to know.
Truth cannot be restrained, freedom must reign,
Death will only fuel the passion to return to Eden again.

"Who would, after seeking the King's palace, be content to stand in the door, when he is invited in to dwell in the King's presence and share with Him in all the glory of His royal life? Oh, let us enter in and abide and enjoy to the full all the rich supply His wondrous love has prepared for us!"

For those who are/have been wondering, I haven't posted in a while because of a combination of busyness and - somewhat - of a lack of material and inspiration (often meaning the hard work of writing). I plan to have much to say in the coming months. May I be diligent in my work so that such can occur.
God bless
God bless
Recently the Lord has answered a ton of my prayers.
-Short-term and Long-term plans (super in-depth and moving very fast)
---->ISI grant application, Senior Theses topics, LCCTI, John Jay Fellowship ---->Opportunity International/Koch/self-started organization?, overseas seminary ---->dedicated to church-planting?
-More gratitude
-More wisdom (from prayer and through reading several books along with Scripture)
-Greater family unity in Christ
-Empowerment to serve the Body effectively
-Retention of Scripture
-Greater heart for prayer
- I had event in December when I was praying at night, and the Spirit moved me to pray for a couple of guys I had been ministering to a couple of years ago, and then, in the morning when I awoke, there was a message on my cellular phone from their youth pastor (I live about an hour and a half from their church) asking if I could attend their winter retreat as a leader. It was an awesome Christmas gift from the Lord to be a servant to their youth and also have the opportunity myself to grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
So much more has also occurred. Our God is awesome, and that would be the fact even if none of these prayers had been answered.

Ask and you might receive. Call, and I'll consider answering you.
Does this sound like God...no
Jesus makes it clear that those who meet the conditions that God has established (this does not by any means make them uncertain) will receive the promised reward.
The Psalmist prophesying about Jesus in the ninety-first Psalm is also sure that God will answer His servant when called up.
When some say, wait but that's only about Jesus, we must be quick to remember that Jesus says, abide in me.
The promises to Jesus find their way to us through Him by the Holy Spirit in us.
