Wouldn't equivocate with truth, but just obeyed it from the start,
His knowledge wasn't power, but it fueled the fire,
Inspiring his worship of the God he admired.
Though weak and tired,
God's presence desired,
Waiting on his Hope to light the Liar's pyre.
