Books

You will find much better reviews elsewhere, but here are my brief opinions/suggestions.

John Owen's:
Sin and Temptation

Definitely read it - choose the abridged version (200pgs) with the introduction by J.I. Packer

Warren Wiersbe's: 50 People Every Christian Should Know

It's fairly good. About 5-9 pages are given for each individual, and it's mostly a primer for other texts you might be interested in reading. It's good for identifying individuals whose biographies and works you would enjoy reading and studying.

John Sailhamer's: The Meaning of the Pentateuch

Wow. I'm only 100 pages into this monumental work, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it and learning a great deal of wonderful and helpful information.

Andrew Bonar: Biography of Robert Murray M'Cheyne

Great.

Several authors: The catholicity of Protestantism

Fantastic book. If you can find a copy, purchase it.
