Psalm 85 - Remix

The favor that You show, is greater than imaginable,
The love that You display, cannot be conveyed,
Except by You, Except by You.
You returned what You have given, when we had gone astray,
You gave back what we gave up from when we had walked away.
You forgave our evil deeds, and all our wicked ways,
You covered over all our sins, consumed within your blaze.

You are so good, so good, life demands you be my advocate.
You are so good, so good, but my heart craves you as it's joy.
I'm so wrong, You are so strong, I deserve nothing but your wrath,
But Your grace is stronger than my nature's weakness, Restore us to Your narrow path

How horrible and fierce is the anger of the Mighty One
Against all who dwell in sin.
But O how precious and lovely is it
To be considered His friend.

Please Lord, no longer put us out from Your face,
Take us God, and renew Your pleasure toward our lowly state
Will You be forever angry?
Will we never enter Your rest?
Will You not revive us quickly,
So that we may once again rejoice in You.

Bring Your light to my eyes, open my heart wide,
Prepare me to accept Your love which never fails,
Grant me one thing, the life to see to reign,
I will listen to what You say, You are our King.
May our ways no more be false and tainted with sin .
Remind us of Your grace; guide us in the Truth.
That Your life is near to all those who fear Him,
That His glory may preside in our land

¹⁰ Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.

¹¹ Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.

¹² The LORD will indeed give what is good,
and our land will yield its harvest.

¹³ Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.
