Undone, though I am,
I'm still held in His hand,
slow to anger,
abounding in love,
He's not shifting like the sand,
Praise Him, He's the All,
Catch me as I fall,
raise me up to fall no more,
I desire all You have in store,
Holy God, remove my sin,
remove the guilt that seeps within,
deliver me with Your death,
carried my burdens with your last breath,
I'm relieved by the pain I shift,
as to you the blame I gift,
now pardoned,
You are the Lamb that was slain.
Not to us, not to us O Lord, but to your name
be ALL the glory

What a wait
Hey brothers and sisters...it's been awhile since I've posted. Here's something for your hearts to munch on while I prepare more.
The enemy mounts the horizon's line, regiments upon themselves, more behind
It's just the two of us and we're alone this time, and yet, he still says we're fine.
What does he know to which I'm not privy, I would really like to know, I'm frightened.
Whoa!
It appears he was correct in his stance that we'll be all right, I should have known that the Lord would show up for this fight.
His legions fight for His own, and I should have realized such was he, though I'm still thankful for this vision, now I walk not by faith blindly.
This is a contest which bears no prize except congratulations from me :)
Who is the speaker? (who did I as the author intend the speaker to be?)
EDIT: The answer is Elisha's servant from
2nd Kings 6:17 :)

It's been awhile
Yeah, it's been a little while since my last post, but I had surgery and have been hibernating while I recover (this will be a short post). I was given enough strength to get to church on Sunday, and the message God gave us was awesome. The focus was on blessing - giving and receiving blessings, what a blessing is and what it is not - and it was my pastor's last sermon before he becomes the superintendent pastor for the midwest region of the Missionary Church (or something like that). He wanted to explain this to us before he gave us his blessing - which is really His blessing. These past ten weeks, he's been preaching sermons which he termed "back of the book." By this he meant that these are like the lessons from the back of your text book, the more difficult ones which you don't always get to learn because of time and knowledge barriers. If you are interested in reading the notes to these sermons, click on the link that says "my home church" on the right side of this screen. Then when you get to the site, on the left side of the screen will be a link titled "sermons." Click on that and the past 10 (9 until this past sunday's sermon is uploaded) will show up. Right-click on the sermon you want and then select "save-as."

If I give it to God they say I'm weak, if I give it to them they give me their critique.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, if I do what's right it'll get done supernaturally.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, if I give it to them I'll be weak indeed.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, but those who don't dont' have room to speak.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, holding the crutch of God upon which I lean.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, if I didn't I'm not sure if I could survive another week.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, people like that don't understand real strength.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, because such strength speaks.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, against such strength their weakness can't compete.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, supernatural activity makes them grit their teeth.
If I give it to God they say I'm weak, because they don't understand reality.
Though, If I give it to God I do what's right.
If I give it to God I act wisely.
God bless,

Sunday was incredible. It was, quite possibly, my favorite day at Hillsdale yet. Why, you might ask? Well....
1. It's Sunday and so that means Church and then brunch.
2. I went on an extended walk with Jaimi during the best part of the day on the best weathered day of the year...amazing.
3. I had little-no homework, and the reading I completed isn't due for another two days.
4. The Peace God's given me....all I can say is wow.
5. God keeps dropping insight bombs on me. I can't get enough His Word. :)
Walking on your canvas, splash my life with your colors,
In truth, in Spirit, with my sisters and brothers,
Each painted separately, all combined in One,
All in all, Father, Spirit, Son,
A touch of light here and there until it's everywhere,
Canvas inconceivable, enemies blind as they stare,
What glory shines forth from the Lord's pen!
He's crafted every angle before he ever begins.
It was finished before He started, the Beginning and the End.
Fresh flower petals curl with the color they present,
Streaks of jet run through the center, parallel; life's bent.
